PRE-SCHOOL NEWS

We returned on Tuesday 28th February for the second half of term.  Please note the new session times of mornings running from 09.00 to 12.00 and the afternoons from 12.45 to 15.15.

Over the course of next few weeks the theme for the children will be 'All about me'.  We hope to complete the children's books shortly.  These were delayed by the visit by Ofsted at the end of last month.  Their report is expected shortly and all parents will receive a copy.  We will be looking at staying healthy and safe, where I live and how our bodies work.

In with staying healthy we will be having a sponsored toddle the week of the 7th March.  The money raised will be devided between Barnardo's and to pay for the coach for our visit to a farm next term.

The last few weeks of term we will be looking at changes in spring and the festival of Easter.  We will hold our Easter Bonnet Parade on Thursday 7th April which will be the last day of term and we will return Tuesday 26th April following the Monday Bank holiday.  Please note there will also be Bank holidays on Friday 29th April and Monday 2nd May.

If you have not booked a place for the pre-school contact us at duckersmoseley@aol.com or come in during one of our sessions to have a look at what we have to offer.  We still have places available for children 2 years to school age, so if you missed out on a nursery place we are registered for the Nursery Education Grant.  Also if your child is to be three before the end of December you will be entitled to the Nursery Grant in Janauary.
